Sharing Your Projects
| How do my friends and family order my book? |
| In the "View & Share" section of your account, you will be able to share your projects. First we must verify that the quality of your photos and all other print requirements have been met. Once shared, your book becomes available in our store. Tell anyone you want to search for your name in the author field, and they will be able to order copies for themselves. |
| Can I restrict access to my shared books? |
| While you can't restrict access to a certain group of people, nobody has to know your book is there unless you tell them. Finding a book requires searching on the name of the author. Books we feature on the front page of the store will always have the permission of that user. And of course, you can always remove a shared book under your control panel. |
| Why can't I find my book in the store? |
| Newly shared books must be processed before being listed in the search results. Depending on the size of your book, there may be a delay even after activating the listing from within your control panel. |
Selling Your Work
| How does the bookstore work? |
| All shared books are listed in our bookstore once the content has been verified. Users who search for your name will see a list of books you have shared and view detailed information about each. They will be able to download previews of the book and cover before ordering. |
| Do I get paid for my work? |
| Yes. Whenever someone orders one of your shared books or projects, you will receive a commission. You must have a PayPal account to receive payment. Details should be entered on the Shared Projects screen of your Control Panel. You will receive 3% of the purchase price of every copy sold! It may not sound like much, but there is power in numbers. We give you worldwide exposure - if you successfully promote your books, you could easily wind up earning some extra cash. We may also express interest in further publishing and distribution opportunities with our favorite works. Contact info@droptheworld.com with any specific inquiries. |
| Can I see my current earnings? |
| Yes. Your control panel will show you sales statistics and earnings for all of your shared books. |
| When do I receive my royalty payments? |
| Royalties earned in a given month will be credited to your PayPal account by the last day of the following month. All royalty payments will carry over to the following month until $20.00 USD has been earned. |
