Projects FAQ
Where do I start?
| 1. Choose your book design |
| Click the "Book Design" tab after logging in to your droptheworld.com account. This is where you can customize how your book will be put together. You can return to this area at any time to change your selections. |
| 2. Select which blogs & photos to include |
| Select the "Blogs & Photos" tab and choose which blogs and photos you would like to include in your book. |
| 3. Preview your book |
| Once your design options and content have been selected, click the "View & Share" tab to see a preview of your actual book. |
Creating Projects
| How many projects can I create? |
| You can create as many projects as you want. Some people may want to organize their blogs into smaller volumes - perhaps by country, continent, month, etc... Multiple projects are also useful for sharing your books with friends and family. You can create projects with people's favorite entries and limit the page count to set the price of the book where you want it. |
| How do I add content to a project? |
| First you must select which project you want to work with. This is done in your control panel. Your blogs and photos are available to all of your projects. Use the Blogs & Photos section to choose the content to be included for the open project. |
Managing Projects
| Do changes I make to blogs and photos affect all projects? |
| Any changes you make to blog text, photo captions, and photo rotation will apply to all of your projects. For example - if you find a spelling mistake, you only need to fix it once. You do not need to change it in every project. |
| However, all Book Design options and changes to features such as the sort order and "favorite" photo selection will only apply to the current project. This allows each project to place its blogs and photos in the order you specify, and "favorite" photo selections can be changed from book to book as well. |
| Will changes I make affect the books I've shared in the bookstore? |
| No. Once you publish a book in our store, it will not be affected by any changes you make in your account. If you need to change something in a published book, you can remove the item from the store and create a new one. |
